OBAMA Taps BIDEN

"As the progressive rebuilding project began, looming over the comeback was a 30-year-old conservative machine of think tanks, candidate recruitment programs, training academies, media divas and hard-core donors bent on creating a "permanent Republican majority." Politico.com

I often wondered over the past two years why Sean Hannity had such a personal vendetta against the left, especially when Clinton and Obama became major candidates after the Iowa Caucus. It became very apparent after Obama became the clear front runner, Hannity was able to dig into Obama's short past and begin a political hate storm unparalleled, even to Jennifer Flowers. I have always been aware of the conservative recruiting machine, I was a policy debater in high school and I was able to see the closing of the ranks very early on. The Republicans and their philosophical agenda are such tarantulas that there is little match for Dem's even if they were to win this election.

So full circle to the installation of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States, Democrats are much more beleaguered by the lack of succession planning than who has been tapped for 2nd in command or party rifts from a tumultuous party nominee election. It seems that Dems have lacked a true fool proof selection program to create the next great leader. Barack Obama is a great guy and a great brand but that's just it, his brand is to new. Come on it 26 years later and who's buying Saturn's? The difference between the two parties is that Republicans invest time and money into each of their leaders, who seemed to be hand picked and individually mentored. Over years they seem to be time tested, aged and marinated in good ole GOP philosophy.

So as news was being released that Joe Biden would be the 44th Vice President of the United States of America, I watched and waited, even through Barack's fjordian slip before I decide to post on this subject and I said all of this to say, Dem's have a long row to hoe, or the other way around….
