I am so disengaged with this blog as of late. With so much going on in the world, there are better things to blog about. McCain and his good ole boy approach to everything once elected is not worth my type. I think I am going to see what I can come up with on this Brian Nichols case and cover it. Much more interesting! Yo, before the rest of the world gets their panties in a wad at liberals blasting this chic out of the water, let's really asses if we really thought she had what it takes. The leadership on the Republican campaign looks weak and as if the are scrambling. To be honest when the Lehman/AIG boiler rooms got exposed, McCain and Palin split appearances and they both drowned on the issues. I hope LK blasts this chic out of the water finally.

The truth of the matter is that AIG is to big of a corporation to let fail. AIG has to many assets worldwide to collapse without collapsing the world economy. AIG is mainly an insurance company and is less regulated on transactions than an investment bank. Regulation of the securities sector is the only way prevent this in the future. The biggest complaint in by wealthy Americans is that less fortunate families bought sub prime mortgages they couldn't afford out of greed. How is that any different than maverick CEO's that imploded companies the ran for a greedy profit?

Why does she continue to give the same speech she gave at the RNC. How long will this continue before the public demands answers. Why two weeks before she grants an interview and why Charlie Gibson. The Right obliterated Obama for introducing diplomacy as a strategy to calm Ahmadinejad but the Bush Administration sends Rice to Libya to secure future oil interest. If it serves me correctly, my memory of course, I spent a great deal writing and debating on Pan Am and Lockerbee. Clinton bombed Libya when I was in high school. Gaddafi was public enemy number one. There was a known terrorist threat against the U.S. from Libya, so 20 years later we consider them an ally? So I guess Barack was 20 years too early with his assessment? One question, how did the U.S. create the stable relationship in Libya? Diplomacy? I wonder how much oil is in Iran?

Troopergate Proves Difficult For Palin As the bloggers went wild and began to do more research into McCain's choice for Veep, plenty of undiscovered information began to surface on the seemingly safe and appropriate pick. The strategy was to gain the respect and later the votes of the 18 million Hillary supporters that were left with no voice on the DNC floor days earlier. Not only did the Shock and Awe theory become a slap in the face for the Democratic and Indie voters who wanted to finally see a woman reach the West Wing but it proved to be an even worse reflection of McCain's decision making skills. So from the very beginning there was speculation on Palin's experience level, then the question as to if her 4 month old son was hers or her daughters and then the daughter's pregnancy but none more shocking than Troopergate. We all know the story and if not I linked it, but the truth of the matter is that Rick Davis and McCain made a hasty decision to steal momentum from Obama and Biden. The two seemed very sloppy in their investigation of her political, personal and criminal background. Palin, an admitted marijuana smoker was a confessed member of the Alaskan Independence Party, which has openly campaigned for the succession of the state and not that it matters that she smokes weed, I blew some of the finest Cali Bud to write this article. I am not a Republican either and weed and Republicans don't jive, that's a Democrat or Libertarian trait. Troopergate is proving to be difficult for Palin since the announcement. The national spotlight has added fuel to the fire. Special prosecutor Steve Branchflower and Sen. Hollis French (D- Alaska) have taken a hard line on the ethics violation and have refused to play ball even though she is the Republican Vice Presidential Nominee. As of recent, Palin has hired Thomas Van Flein to represent her in the probe and he has requested that Branchflower turn over intelligence gathered thus far. Hollis took the opportunity to check and mate Palin publicly stating that there is no precedence for evidence sharing. Palin, who claims total innocence on ethics violations has refused to cooperate with Branchflower who has tried to reach her repeatedly. Why am I writing about week old news? The Republicans tried to cancel their convention and used Gustav as a scapegoat to keep Palin and her issues out of the media while they finished vetting her after the fact….
