Yo, this chick is completely nutty. On the one hand we have to take into account her education level, age, and background and the sum total would equal the ignorance in her comment. It is very scary that she is saying that she works and volunteers for the McCain office in Burnsville. I wonder if the McCain camp has seen this video? I mean I wouldn't expect much from rural Minnesota in the way of progression with a city still named Coon Rapid? She was better off calling Obama a Coon than an Arab, because that is what she was trying to bring across contextually.

The truth of the matter is that AIG is to big of a corporation to let fail. AIG has to many assets worldwide to collapse without collapsing the world economy. AIG is mainly an insurance company and is less regulated on transactions than an investment bank. Regulation of the securities sector is the only way prevent this in the future. The biggest complaint in by wealthy Americans is that less fortunate families bought sub prime mortgages they couldn't afford out of greed. How is that any different than maverick CEO's that imploded companies the ran for a greedy profit?

The ADF has recruited a half dozen churches, to challenge their tax exemption status and endorse a candidate on Sept. 28.

The Right obliterated Obama for introducing diplomacy as a strategy to calm Ahmadinejad but the Bush Administration sends Rice to Libya to secure future oil interest. If it serves me correctly, my memory of course, I spent a great deal writing and debating on Pan Am and Lockerbee. Clinton bombed Libya when I was in high school. Gaddafi was public enemy number one. There was a known terrorist threat against the U.S. from Libya, so 20 years later we consider them an ally? So I guess Barack was 20 years too early with his assessment? One question, how did the U.S. create the stable relationship in Libya? Diplomacy? I wonder how much oil is in Iran?

Troopergate Proves Difficult For Palin

As the bloggers went wild and began to do more research into McCain's choice for Veep, plenty of undiscovered information began to surface on the seemingly safe and appropriate pick. The strategy was to gain the respect and later the votes of the 18 million Hillary supporters that were left with no voice on the DNC floor days earlier. Not only did the Shock and Awe theory become a slap in the face for the Democratic and Indie voters who wanted to finally see a woman reach the West Wing but it proved to be an even worse reflection of McCain's decision making skills.

So from the very beginning there was speculation on Palin's experience level, then the question as to if her 4 month old son was hers or her daughters and then the daughter's pregnancy but none more shocking than Troopergate. We all know the story and if not I linked it, but the truth of the matter is that Rick Davis and McCain made a hasty decision to steal momentum from Obama and Biden. The two seemed very sloppy in their investigation of her political, personal and criminal background. Palin, an admitted marijuana smoker was a confessed member of the Alaskan Independence Party, which has openly campaigned for the succession of the state and not that it matters that she smokes weed, I blew some of the finest Cali Bud to write this article. I am not a Republican either and weed and Republicans don't jive, that's a Democrat or Libertarian trait.

Troopergate is proving to be difficult for Palin since the announcement. The national spotlight has added fuel to the fire. Special prosecutor Steve Branchflower and Sen. Hollis French (D- Alaska) have taken a hard line on the ethics violation and have refused to play ball even though she is the Republican Vice Presidential Nominee. As of recent, Palin has hired Thomas Van Flein to represent her in the probe and he has requested that Branchflower turn over intelligence gathered thus far. Hollis took the opportunity to check and mate Palin publicly stating that there is no precedence for evidence sharing. Palin, who claims total innocence on ethics violations has refused to cooperate with Branchflower who has tried to reach her repeatedly.

Why am I writing about week old news? The Republicans tried to cancel their convention and used Gustav as a scapegoat to keep Palin and her issues out of the media while they finished vetting her after the fact….

So today has to be the weirdest day of my life and just as I started to make sense of it all, I get a text from CNN; Breaking News, McCain Taps Palin. This election was either given to Obama today, or has been a joke all along.

Republican hardliners will not stand by this decision, they will simply not vote. The 18 million Hillary supporters will see the obvious and take it as a slap in the face. Bloggers have already started to eat her alive. Let's just see how the weekend plays out with all of this.

The obvious mishap, is that McCain is 72 and his health could fail at any moment. This would leave Palin to run our country. She has no gangsta about herself. Putin would play ring. around the nukes with her allday until she folded in public. At least Hillary
had balls, probably bigger than Bill's.

Hannity and the Heritage Foundation had Newt on to cosign the whole deal. I don't know what weed Newt was smoking today but it must have been the same dank McCain had the night before. I won't begin to prop up the Democratic ticket and why its a better choice and I am a conservative independent. At some point national security has to enter the minds of Americans???

I just wanted to take the time to highlight a decent comment from a "Great American"(LMAO@ Sean Hannity) This comment was left on my Digg profile and it was so dead center of what liberals and independents are thinking of McCain's choice for VP.

As my friend Alapoet wrote: McCain's anti-choice, anti-gay, anti-environment right wing extremist pick for vice president reveals the depth of his cynicism and condescension towards American voters, women in particular.

And Paul Begala said: John McCain needs "a checkup from the neck up." In choosing Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to be his running mate he is not thinking "outside the box," as some have said. More like out of his mind.

Sarah Palin elected in 2006 as a first-term governor of a state with more reindeer than people is a former fisherman, mother of five, Madame Mayor of a town of 9,000. But that hardly qualifies her to be a heartbeat away from the presidency. She is also facing a formal ethics investigation calling for her impeachment. Nice.

Once you are able to distinguish the semantic arguments of Echevarria over the German interpretation of Politik used by Clausewitz, we are able to see some light in Putin’s indictment of George Bush. Now we all know that Putin, an ex-KGB official, is subject to extreme skepticism because of he’s known acumen in political propaganda, but who would be a more perfect mark to prosecute a politically driven conflict against. Some points in of brilliance in a Bush/Rice Conspiracy Theory:

1. Nobody in their right mind would begin to believe that a standing U.S. President would send orders to attack interest of a former Cold War enemy with nuclear volatility looming throughout the east.

2. There would be too much of a risk for exposure of personal energy interests owned by top U.S. Officials in the current administration.

3. How retarded would it be to prosecute a police action to help John McCain win an election bid for the Presidency? Its absurd to think Republicans would go this far to challenge Obama’s foreign policy experience???

4. Points 2 and 3 would constitute war crimes and add to Bush and Cheney’s charges stemming from Afghanistan and Iraq.

5. Putin is ex-KGB and Russian, who would believe this idot?

The sad fact is that Putin is not an idiot, he is a Russian Patriot trying to rebuild a country that Reagan and Daddy Bush stole from him many years ago. He has every right to be paranoid. The truth is that the Republican elite have used police actions or RMA’s to gain control of natural resources and economic strongholds all across the globe over the past 4 decades. The most memorable and only because it became exposed was the Iran-Contra Conflict, selling cocaine to buy guns to over throw a government to control shipping lanes in South America, and Daddy Bush’s fingerprints all over it, full circle to 2003, after creating an event to cause the warranted invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq for the purpose of controlling a country’s natural resources. Everyone and their cousin knows that there is oil and natural gas in the Black and Caspian seas and that since the U.S. energy crisis in the mid 1970’s the U.S. has prosecuted conflicts to control the region.

This is classic Bush Family politics and Putin just maybe telling the truth. George Jr. has no chance of a great legacy as a past U.S President, and rape, robbing and killing is a dirty job. Why not make a little more scratch on the way out. Michael Moore exposed the U.S. led private equity firms that financed energy companies in Russia’s back door and leaving Putin out of the money. As for the Georgian Conflict being staged for McCain, I say Wag The Damn Dog!!!

Listening to Joe Biden as I give this update!

Clinton gave a hell of a unity speech if that was his intent. He opened by commenting that he was present for 2 reasons; 1. to support Obama and 2. to congratulate his wife. The speech highlighted the many achievements by both candidates and covered the many failures of the current Republican administration. He spoke of his love for Joe Biden but the most climatic point of the speech was when acknowledged Hillary's 18 million voters and his call to action for those voters to rally behind Obama. A beautiful gesture but a little late. Don't you think???
